Objective:
To guide the process of filling out SP formats by providing short explanations, definitions and examples. Key definitions are hyperlinked to the Glossary section
Strategic Plan Components
I) Background information about the MA Strategic Plan
This summary of the MA’s strategic plan is the main narrative that MAs will be required to write, and they will only need to write this level of information the first time PRISM is used and whenever they have a new strategic plan.
II) Mapping to IPPF Outcomes
This section provides information about the Strategic Framework Expected Results. An explanation or rationale for the projection will be required.
III) Projections

Projections to be presented for each IPPF Outcome and Expected Result
• These are quantitative targets (refer to Global a Regional targets)
• ‘Not applicable’ is a valid response for some ERs
• Projections are required for the 10 global ERs that are relevant at the MA level, and other Regional ERs (such as cervical cancer and GVB will also require projections
• Projections should reflect MA’s best estimate, based on country analysis, experience, trends and resource availability
