Program Model Glossary Strategic Outcome Model Category Program Model Comments 3- Deliver Services Service Delivery Services - Static A location that provides clinical sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services and contraceptives by trained providers. It operates from a fixed premise, and is managed and operated by the MA. May include non SRH services. All providers and counsellors are full or part time MA staff. 3- Deliver Services Service Delivery Services - Mobile Clinic/Outreach MA providers, who are trained service providers and/or counsellors, providing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in an offsite location (i.e. not in a MA static clinic). These services can be provided through health posts, equipped vehicles or on other premises. 3- Deliver Services Service Delivery Services - Static/Outreach Integrated Not applicable to WHR region, please disregard this program model category. Any project activity working to provide clinical services in the community outside of the static clinic should be classified as Mobile Clinic/Outreach, regardless of whether the staff are permanently or temporarily based from a clinic. 3- Deliver Services Service Delivery Services - Enabled Services (Associated Clinics) A clinic belonging to private individuals, organizations or the public sector, providing sexual and reproductive health services by trained doctors, clinicians and or counsellors. An associated clinic is not managed by the MA; services are provided by associated staff, NOT by MA staff. MAs have agreement to provide significant technical support, training, monitoring, quality of care and oversight. 3- Deliver Services Service Delivery Services - Community Based Distribution A MA managed program that distributes contraceptives and other sexual and reproductive health commodities to clients through community based workers or volunteers (CBDs). They may provide non clinical services such as education. CBD includes health promoters, educators, and health workers. 3- Deliver Services Service Delivery Services - Social Marketing MA provides contraceptives and other SRH commodities that are sold at prices that permit cost recovery only. Contraceptives cannot be sold in commercial pharmaceutical facilities.
