It is necessary to review all the checks for a standard before an assessment of compliance with the standard can be made.
Review the description of the standard and check on the page. Complete the assessment by selecting either Yes or No in response to each check and entering supporting evidence in the Evidence Textbox (Figure 6). Select Save to store the responses in the system and Next to proceed to the next check.

Figure 6
The Standard Page will appear after the last check of that standard when proceeding systematically through the assessment (Figure 7). Based on the responses to the preceding checks, an assessment needs to be made of whether the Association is in compliance with the standard by choosing one of the following four available options:
• No
• Yes
• Not
Applicable
• Non-compliance
with Justification
It is important to note that it is not necessary to respond “Yes” to
every check to be considered to comply with the essential requirements of a standard.

Figure 7
A summary of the responses to the related checks can be displayed by clicking on the View
Evidences link on the Standard Page (Figures 8 and 9).

Supporting documents can be uploaded to the assessment from the Upload Documents function within the assessment (Figure 10) or from the ACTIONS Panel on the MA Accreditation Homepage (Figure 4).

Multiple documents can be uploaded at the same time by browsing for each document (Figure 11). Select Upload to store the documents in the system.

Clicking on the Delete symbol adjacent to a file will remove the file from the system (Figure 12).

The colour
indicators adjacent to the standards and checks can be used to identify which
standards and checks have been completed.
- Red – indicates the check or standard has not yet
been completed.
- Yellow – indicates some of the checks for the
standard have been completed.
- Green – indicates the check or standard has been
completed.
Within the assessment the Percentage Indicator gives a visual indication of how many of the standards under the principle highlighted in green on the Principles
Ribbon have been completed. A standard is considered completed when a response has been entered into the assessment for the standard and all of its related checks (Figure 15).

Figure 15
On the MA
Accreditation Homepage, the Percentage Indicator in the ACTIONS
Panel gives visual indication of how many of the principles in the assessment have been completed (Figure 16). A principle is considered completed when a response had been entered into the assessment for all of the standards and checks under the principle.
